I’m Nicolas Bourgeois, I’m a Linux engineer passionate about understanding how systems really work. Through this blog, I’ll explore Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Fedora and Linux internals, turning complex topics into practical explanations for system administrators and engineers.
I’ve always enjoyed explaining complex technical topics. Preparing presentations often taught me as much as they taught my audience, and this blog is a natural extension of that process.
Currently, I work as a Technical Account Manager at Red Hat1! I’m supporting customers on platform technologies (Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Satellite), Red Hat Openstack, and Red Hat Openshift.
About this blog
My goal is not to document every command or every feature. The official documentation already does that very well. Instead, I want to explain how Linux works under the hood, why things behave the way they do, and share the mental models that helped me become a better system administrator.
